Are you interested in monitoring Morse code transmissions discreetly without cumbersome equipment? Morse Pad allows you to decode Morse code using your iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch. Simply place your device near a radio, select a Morse code transmission, and view the decoded text.
You can input the Morse code speed in Words Per Minute (WPM) or opt for the Auto WPM mode, allowing Morse Pad to determine the sending speed automatically. Please be aware that there might be a slight delay in the app's speed detection or adjustments to speed changes.
Inputting the center frequency of the Morse code audio in Hertz is essential. Morse Pad features an Automatic Frequency Control (AFC) function that tracks frequency variations and locks onto the strongest signal available.
The spectrum display located in the upper left corner exhibits the audio spectrum, marked with a red line indicating the center frequency. This feature serves as a helpful tuning aid.
